So recently I saw Andrea Bocelli in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The night was flawless and they kept having encore's and keeping the crowd on our toes with anticipation. When I got home I began to look for his next concert date, and stumbled onto another once in a lifetime moment I'd like to share.
Due to Bocelli's influence he got an outdoor amphitheatre built in his hometown in Tuscany. It is called Teatro del Silenzio, and it is open for performances once a year every July for Bocelli's personal concert. Then for the rest of the year the venue is silent.
I will be looking into going next year since Bocelli has only confirmed to do 5 performances there, and he has already held 3, so that leaves us all with 2 more chances to enjoy his voice in a rare venue.
